I am a fourth-year Construction Management student at the University of Cincinnati. I have completed four previous co-op terms with three different companies, and am soon to embark on my fifth term. I was born and raised in the greater Cincinnati area, and am eager to create breathtaking projects in my hometown.
RBI is a design-build commercial greenhouse contractor in Cincinnati, Ohio. The greenhouses they create are multimillion-dollar facilities that are used for cannabis production. I was a project management co-op at RBI for 2 semesters. During that time, I was able to create a concise, yet complete closeout document turnover process. This consisted of company and component contacts, general greenhouse maintenance instructions, equipment manuals, material lists, as-built drawings, and warranties. I visited sites across the midwest and assisted the project manager with meetings, problem-solving, and document creation.
Cresco Labs Inc.

HGC Construction is a well-known general contractor in the Greater Cincinnati Area. HGC specializes in both historical restoration and new, ground-up construction. During my time at HGC, I was fortunate enough to work on the Factory 52 project. This was a large, mixed-use development at the location of the old US Playing Card Factory in Norwood, Ohio. This job had everything from new residential construction and a concrete structure parking garage to commercial historic renovation. My responsibilities on this project included creating weekly work plans, logging weather delays, performing quantity takeoffs, creating site evacuation and site logistic plans, participating in pull plan meetings, sending in submittals, and assisting the superintendents daily.
Factory 52 Jobsite
Norwood, Ohio
Fedders Construction is a commercial contractor in Newport, Kentucky. They specialize in historic renovation and repurposing, but also engage in new construction. They even dip into the residential world for personal clients. I was a project management co-op at Fedders for 1 semester. During that time, I created 3D models, simple site plans, worked with vendors and subcontractors, and wrote change orders. During the second half of my semester, I assisted a field superintendent with a project. I acted as the in-office project manager and was responsible for purchasing materials, scheduling subcontractors, attending client meetings and maintaining a healthy relationship with them, site visits and walkthroughs, site problem solving, document collection and creation, and contractor-interior designer relationship.
